How it works

What advocacy looks like

  1. Reach outIn writing or by phone or video, sharing only what you're comfortable with.
  2. Make a planTogether we sort out what matters most right now and what can wait.
  3. ConnectWe help you reach the right shelters, programs, and trusted legal help.
  4. Follow throughWe check in, help you prepare for appointments, and adjust the plan as things change.
Our role

We walk alongside you

Advocacy here means helping you find your way through systems that can feel overwhelming, and making sure you don't have to do it alone.

  • We listen, help you make a plan, and keep you organized.
  • We connect you with services and people who can help, and help you prepare to meet them.
  • We offer coaching and emotional support for parents, caregivers, and children.

Our advocacy is not legal advice

We don't provide legal advice or immigration legal services. When you need legal help, we connect you with licensed attorneys and DOJ-accredited representatives. Be careful of anyone else who offers immigration legal help, including people who call themselves "notarios."
